The Game is Out Now!

Hey everyone!

I’m excited (and relieved) to finally share that my game is now released! It’s been quite a journey, juggling development in small chunks of time between work, family, and life in general. This project started as a way to get back into releasing games after a long break, and I’m really happy with how it turned out.

From the beginning, my goal was to create a short but polished experience—a small game that captures a single mechanic in a fun and engaging way. While I had more ideas in mind, I decided to focus on delivering a solid vertical slice rather than stretching the development indefinitely. Some additional mechanics and features didn’t make it in, mostly due to time constraints, but I believe the final result is a complete and enjoyable experience.

Another reason I decided to wrap it up as it is, is that I’m eager to start new projects. Since I’ve only been able to work on this in small sessions, it’s taken quite a while, and I feel ready to move on to fresh ideas. While I’ve really enjoyed this process, I don’t want to get stuck refining it endlessly when there are so many other things I’d love to create.

Building this game using Foster, Ldtk, Arch ECS, and Dear ImGUI was a great learning experience, and I hope to carry this knowledge into future projects. If you’ve been following my devlog, you know that this game was developed in small sessions, sometimes just an hour or two at a time. That’s why I kept the scope manageable and ensured that what I built felt polished rather than unfinished.

While it may not be a big game, I hope you enjoy the small, focused experience I’ve put together. If you get a chance to play it, I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Thanks for following along, and happy gaming!
